Driveway resurfacing is by far the most popular and most sensible way to get a new driveway at a reasonable cost. In this situation the existing driveway is defined along the entire perimeter and asphalt is removed where necessary along garage floors, walkways, curbs, etc. .. so the new surface can meet evenly to these areas. (fig. 1) Then the existing surface is leveled with hot asphalt, where necessary, to provide a uniform grade and stabilize sunken and cracked areas. (fig. 2) Finally, the entire driveway is resurfaced with a 2 to 2 1/2 inch layer of hot asphalt and compacted thoroughly. (fig 3.) This method provides a quality driveway for many trouble free years. We resurface approximately 150 driveways per year, and recommend this option in most situations. CALL NOW FOR A FREE ESTIMATE
